Terrance L. Baker, MD, MS
Terrance L. Baker, MD, MS is the Founder, President, and CEO of Sollay Inc., New Relief for Pain, a Photo Medicine practice. Sollay specializes in the use of phototherapy including Low Intesity Laser Therapy, Class IV laser therapy and laser accupuncture in the treatment of medical conditions.
Dr Baker opened the first Sollay center at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, a Johns Hopkins affiliate and a Medstar Health affiliate, and has been treating patients for over eight (8) years with a cure rate of over ninety percent (90%). With the tremendous success rate of this technology, Dr. Baker formed the Sollay Foundation, a non-profit organization, with the goal of making this curative, healing technology available to anyone in the world regardless of geographic, economic and social restraints.
Dr. Baker reveived his Bachelors of Science and Master of Science degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine and has been in practice for over 26years.
He is Board Certified in Family Pratice, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Forensic Medicine. He is a Certified Medical Director by the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for national organizations including American Association of Physician Specialist (AAPS), North American Association for Light Therapy (NAALT) and the American Board of Forensic Medicine (ABFM). He has served as peer reviewer and forensic medical expert throughout the United States. He is a clinical instructor at the University of Marylalnd School of Nursing. He has written and lectured extensively on medical practice issues including the use of phototherapy as a curative treatment of medical conditions.
Dr. Baker has written extensively and speaks around the world about the clinical applications of medical lasers.
Modesta Vesonder, CNP
Modesta graduated from Montgomery college with an associate of science in Nursing in 1997. She then proceeded to University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore. Modesta received her Bachelors of Science in 2005 and subsequently received her masters of science in 2007.
Modesta is board certified to practice medicine in the areas of Adult and Geriatrics. Modesta currently practices full time at Good Samaritan Hospital in the departments of Transitional care unit, Good Samaritan Nursing Center and private pratice. She has been trained and has certifications in laser application from BioFlex, Astanza, Candela/Syneron, and Lumenis/Fotona.
Modesta Vesonder has experience in Adults/Geriatrics Medicine and the application of medical therapeutic lasers in treatment of medical conditions.
Elena Arizaga LPN, Laser Specialist
Elena has been working as a nurse for 23 years. She received her nursing training in the Army and worked at Sinai Hospital once she returned to civilian life.
She has been working in the field of aesthetic medicine for six years. She fell in love with the field after visiting an aesthetic doctor to minimize the appearance of a pesky vein. Elena's favorite procedure to perform is skin rejuvenation. She finds it rewarding to help the person on the inside shine through to the outside! She has been trained and has certifications in laser application from BioFlex, Astanza, Candela/Syneron, and Lumenis/Fotona.
Because of her Army training, Elena holds a special place in her heart for wounded and disfigured soldiers and enjoys restoring their appearance to "normal" whenever possible.
She is the mother of a 22 year old son, Chris, and a brand new Boston Terrier puppy that takes up much of her time.
